5 min protein ice cream recipe from the December issue of Oxygen magazine. I just tried it and it kind of works but using two ziploc bags is a bit troublesome.
Healthy delicious caramel-ish ice cream!
Ingredients:
- half a big sweet potato
- 3 small eggs (or 2 large eggs)
- 3 tbsp of maple syrup
- 3 tbsp of almond butter (or cashew butter)
- 1 to 2 tbsp of carob powder

Peanut butter ice cream
Nutrition facts per serving: 150 kcal, 9.5g of fat, 9.25g of protein, 6.5g of carbs of which 5.7g sugars.
Ingredients:
- 15 cl soy milk
- 3 to 4 tablespoons of agave nectar (to taste, or use your favorite sweetener)
- 4 eggs
- 3 to 4 tablespoons of peanut butter
- 5 grams of agar-agar

Made with:
- 2 juicy limes, squeezed
- 1-2 tbsp lemon juice (adds complexity to the citrus tones)
- 1/2 cups ice
- 1/4 cup frozen banana
- 1/4 cup maple syrup (in my opinion you don’t need it as there is already a banana)
- pinch of lime zest
- 2 tbsp fresh basil leaves
- 2-4 tbsp sparkling or flat chilled water
All you do is cut up your favourite fruit, drop it into a popsicle mold, and then fill up the remaining space with juice. Freeze overnight.
Raw Cashew Ice Cream (found on this blog: lesleyliftinglife.com)
Ingredients:
- 1 C raw cashews
- 1/2 C water
- 1/3 C raw agave nectar
- pinch of salt
- 1 vanilla bean
- 1-2 TB coconut oil
Directions: Throw it all in a blender and let it form a smooth liquid. Place the liquid in ice cream maker, and let it do it’s thing until it’s reached your favorite consistency.
