Reblogging this as a tip for my European followers: menstrual cups seem to be a well-known product in North America, whereas nobody seems to talk about it here in Europe. 
It’s a great product if you’re an active girl. (However, I wouldn’t recommend it to very young girls who still don’t know their body well). The cheapest “European” cup costs 15 euro on this site: fleurcup.com. And you can find tons of information about menstrual cups on tumblr, like for example on fuckyeahmenstrualcups.tumblr.com which answers all the questions you might have about it.

Women’s bodies don’t smell bad. And unless you want to, you don’t need to be paying upwards of $10 a month for the privilege of having your period without bleeding everywhere.

Women have been bleeding successfully, on our own, for thousands of years. We got options, ya know?
