Hi! Your blog is so awesome. anyways, since about march I have lost 23 lbs. slowly, but surely. as of now, my goal weight is 8lbs away. I am at the gym doing 45+ minutes of cardio 6 days a week, and on 3 of those days I do beginners strength training. I try to mix up my workouts as much as possible so my body isn't used to it. my question is do you have any advice for me to get to my goal weight? I do believe this is a realistic goal as well. Thank you! :)

Hi, sorry for my late response! First, congratulations on losing 23 lbs! Well done! I don’t know how tall your are, so I cannot say if your goal weight is really what you should aim for. You seem to be very smart about your training (“mixing it up”) although I would personally do less cardio and more strength training -but it’s a matter of personal preferences and body type :)

So I guess that the last lbs will be a matter of adjusting / tightening up your diet. I suppose you’re already eating healthy right now, but what I mean by tightening it up is lowering the amount of natural sugars you get by eating less fruits but more vegetables, cutting out yogurt and dairy products and replacing them by fish (canned tuna is convenient). But this is easier said than done and to tell you the truth I’m in the same boat as you right now!
