Name: Elise
Age: 30 - I know, I’m very old to be on tumblr :) When I was a kid, the Internet didn’t even exist!
I live in: Amsterdam, in the Netherlands (Europe) and Lyon, France. I’m French. (I also have a French-speaking fitness tumblr: fitnessfriandises.tumblr.com.)
My job: I’m working as a content manager for a webshop selling cosmetics. I’m also working as a fitness trainer (part-time). I try to stay up-to-date with the latest fitness/diet trends because I have a tendency to buy fitness/diet books even if they’re just big marketing fads:
My fitness philosophy: Make it fun, enjoy movement for its own sake. Being able to exercise is a gift that’s not appreciated until it’s gone.

Weight: varies between 59 and 62kg
Workouts I enjoy: weight-training at the gym, spinning, bootcamp classes, Insanity videos, Jillian Michaels’ videos and a yoga or pilates video from time to time.
Favorite exercises:
- Tricep push-ups

- Smith machine lunges
- All glutes isolating exercises (butt blaster, kickbacks)
- Chin-ups. I can only do 4 non-assisted chin-ups but I’m working on it :)

Diet: flexitarian/omnivore
Favorite healthy foods:
- eggs
- leeks, leek soup
- any kinds of roasted vegetables
- any kinds of fruits
- grilled scrod (white fish)
- green tea & maté
Favorite cheat foods:
- kinderbueno chocolate bar: the only vending-machine candy bar that really tempts me
- dark chocolate with 99% cocoa
- French pastries
